First chose modify and changed a 709 clip to HLG. Then placed it on a HLG timeline. After exporting in QuickTime HLG, the clip has correct colors in QuickTime player, but over saturated on YouTube/VLC. Have exported with different settings (kept HLG), and still plays fine on QuickTime player, and over saturated on YouTube/VLC.

I did as you said but it fades-in the text from right to left. I'd like it to fade-out from right to left. When I did what you suggested, the text wasn't showing to begin with and as it played towards the end, it faded-in the text from right to left. I'd like to keep the text showing at the start and as the animation preset suggests, for the text to fade out at the end but from right to left, instead of it's default left-to-right.

I just like to reverse the direction of the "Fade out slow" under "Animate Out" in the Animation presets. Right now the fading starts from left to right, but I'd like the text to start fading from right to left. I played with "Start" "End" & "Offset" but still can't do it.

Thanks Mike! This works but it's not as smooth as "Wiggly Stroke Width" effect. If you apply that effect to a text, the way the stroke moves over the text is very smooth, wave like. The method you told me does what I want (from 0 to 100) but because it's not the "Wiggly" effect, the stroke passes over each letter like a typewriter effect.

Hi, since I'm still learning After Effects, I'm not sure how to make this Effect work. I just want it to start at a key-frame from 0 (or not visible) and end with a key-frame with 0 again after passing over the letters. The attached screen shot shows my set-up. Thank you!

I have these two layers (Null & Timeline-complete) and I'd like to use one mask to mask elements on both layers. And I'd like to keyframe the mask so as I move along on the timeline I can keyframe where I want the mask to be active or not. I couldn't find a good answer after searching. Here is a screen shot. Thanks Rick! I'll watch the video you included about Animation. About what you suggested, "Animate the camera to make it fly past the 3D layers. Add a small amount of animation in the Y axis to the 3D layers" Do you mean not use the wiggle expression in the camera, because I don't understand what you mean by "make it fly past the 3D layers". Thanks! I'm still not sure if it's a bug but I'll report it anyway. Here is the link to the project file. It just has 3 layer shapes to make a timeline with the repeater. And the repeater stops after 656 (even though it should show all 2200 in my Custom View 1) as if there something is blocking it. Actually stops at 656. No matter how many copies you ask the Repeater to make. I tried again in a new project and again stops showing at 656.
